My Favorite 90 Seconds to Health Spot

In celebration of my 25th Anniversary, I was asked to pick my favorite 90 Seconds to Health spot. That was tougher than I thought it would be. There are so many spots that I have produced over the years, and they all have what I would hope is excellent information for living a healthy life. However, my team is forcing me to pick one :-), so here it is ..

Pain – The Gift No One Wants. That’s the title of a book written by Dr. Paul Brand and Phillip Yancey. If you haven’t read it, I would highly recommend you get yourself a copy. I haven’t met one person who is thankful for the pain they are experiencing. In fact, I’ve asked many people if they would like to live a life totally void of pain. What about you? Well, if you answered “YES!” to that question then what you have agreed to is living your life with Leprosy. That’s right, the only difference between you and a leper is the ability to feel pain. Pain is a gift God has given you to tell you that things are just not right. Our culture tries to deaden that pain at all costs. As a chiropractor I believe it is better stewardship of our bodies to address the cause of that pain rather than ignoring or covering up the pain to begin with. So if you’re experiencing pain and ignoring or covering it up, don’t! Give us a call at 864-322-2828 or click here to set an appointment. We are here to help!

As with most things in life it is always wise to look at the root cause, whether a pain or some other obstacle we need to overcome.
